Jerry Ronald Lewitsky

Born in Dunnville and raised in the small agricultural town of Wellandport, Ontario, Canada by Walter and Lena (Konkin) Lewitsky.

Lovingly remembered by his Wife Mary Patricia (Mindzak) of Marco Island, Florida, his Daughter Miranda Sarah and Son-in-law Kawika Strahle of Honoka’a, Hawaii, his Son Jeffrey Ryan and Son-in-law Sebastian Banol Palacio of Pembroke Pines, Florida, his treasured Granddaughter Makana Ahekawenalani (Strahle Lewitsky) also of Honoka’a, Hawai’i, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and dear friends in Canada, Japan, Colombia, and the United States of America.

Moved from Welland, Ontario, Canada to Raleigh, North Carolina, United States of America in 1990 where the family resided for many years, including settling in the Town of Wake Forest. Moved to beautiful Marco Island, Florida in 2011 until present.

Graduated from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelors of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering, and from Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, North Carolina with a Masters in Project Management. Specialized in Project Management, Information Technology, with a membership to the Project Management Institute since 2003.

An avid nature lover, including Marco Island’s burrowing owls, gopher tortoises, butterflies, and a wide variety of birds and native plants. Loved to work outside in the garden and yard everyday. Two beloved golden retrievers, Merritt 1990-2004, and Austin, 2005-2019, were an integral part of the family. He loved international cuisine, and made the best homemade chicken soup and ribs. College basketball and NCAA March Madness fan, Go Heels!
