Grace Thomas, resident of Naples, Florida passed away at the age of 92 on September 30th at Avow Hospice. Mrs Thomas was raised in Youngstown, Ohio, where she operated a card and gift shop with her first husband, who predeceased her. She married a second time to Richard Burgess in January 2016. Grace was admired by her family, friends and stepdaughters for her adventurous spirit, and for her courage and good nature in the face of physical adversity. Her wry wit, her love for gardening and her trademark rum cake will be missed. Memorial contributions may be made to Avow Hospice in Naples.
