Georgette Mae Williams

Georgette Williams, 83 of Bonita Springs, FL went home to heaven to be eternally with our Lord Jesus on September 16, 2023 and reunited with her parents Mele and Mildred plus her brother Richard Mamula.

Georgette was born in Steubenville, Ohio. She was raised in Weirton, WV with her siblings Richard and Elizabeth and Graduated from Weir High School. She then went on to earn her Degree in Business administration at Steubenville Business College 1962.

Georgette married her first husband, Samuel Winovich in March of 1964 and they resided in Pittsburgh, PA where they had two daughters. For several years in Pittsburgh, she taught Sunday school and served as a church superintendent.

After this marriage ended in 1977, Georgette and her daughters moved on to several other states together including; MI, IL, NM, WV and CA.

Throughout her career Georgette worked as a retail buyer for several stores and held multiple positions as an administrative office assistant. She gave up her career in 1996 to help her family in a time of her grandson’s medical needs.

Georgette will be remembered for her warm smile, her kind complimentary words, and her generosity to her family. She loved gardening, bicycling and art, but mostly she really loved spending time with her grandchildren and they will have very fond memories of the many, fun adventures they had with her.

Georgette is survived by her two daughters, Stacey Marchione (husband Ralph) of Bonita Springs, FL; Stefanie Grande (husband Jerry) of Pittsburgh, PA; and grandchildren; Briana, Dominic (wife Emily), Steven, Anthony, Melanie and great granddaughter, Mia. She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Mallory Miller of Diamond Bar, CA.
