Chaplain Hostetler visit us often in prison, teaching us the Bible, teaching us about Christ Jesus our savior. Chaplain Hostetler played a very real and meaningful role and helping me and many many other Florida prison inmates to grow closer to God, to understand him and to fear Him and to love him. Upon my release I often call chaplain Hostetler for his input on Christian and world and life views. I do and will miss chaplain Gary Hostetler.

Mr. Hostetler was a true follower of Christ. He was a gentle soul and I will always remember him as Denise’s Daddy who was always so sweet and kind to me.  
Mr Gary and Ms Norma were such a wonderful part of my high school years and I will always be grateful to have known them.
