Gail Sandra Reid

Mrs. Gail Sandra Reid, daughter of the late Albert and Emma Neubauer, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 18th after a long illness of kidney disease. She was born on October 25th, 1946. Gail was married to Gary E. Reid, making a home together in Youngstown, N.Y., where she was raised, later moving to Naples, Fl., where she spent the remainder of her life. Gail spent many happy days working in her beautiful flower gardens in N.Y. and enjoying the sunshine of Fl. She worked as an office manager for her husband’s remodeling company. For many years Gail ran the women’s prison ministry at Niagara County Jail, along with heading women’s Bible study groups and the prayer chain at Lewiston Assembly of God. Gail is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Emma, and by her brother Bradley Neubauer. She will be forever cherished by her husband, Gary, of 29 years; and deeply loved by her children: James Venne, Dane (Meg) Venne, JoAnne (Robert) Marsh, her stepchildren Tanya (Eric) Reid, and Owen (Melissa) Reid. Gail was blessed with twelve grandchildren and three great granddaughters, who were her pride and joy. Gail held a special bond with her sister Bonnie (Vincent) Jarosz, who will always keep her close to her heart. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and longtime friends. In lieu of flowers, please help us remember our wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend with donations to the ASPCA in honor of her love for animals.
