Donald L Meeks Sr. Aged 79 of Punta Gorda, FL. passed away on January 10, 2025. Don was born June 7, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH. Son of the late Donald and Charlotte Meeks. Don was a loving father and respected mechanic at Budig Western and Parsec Inc. for many years. He was passionate about his dogs, horses, hunting and fishing. He was known for his tough exterior but had a soft spot charities that helped children.
Don was survived by his children; Donald L. Meeks Jr., Lisa Hamer (Mike),
Michelle “Shell” Anello (Vince), and the late Vance Meeks. Grandfather to Dawn, Lyndsay, Josh, Maci, Nick, Jake, and Kari, Stephen, and Brandon. Great Grandfather to Lil Josh, Bella, Mason, Jaxon, Maeven, Jaylyn, Kylee, Alex, Owen, and Lukas. Brother of the late Donna Kattus, and Denny Meeks.
