Dolly Mary Elizabeth Clements Little passed away March 6, 2024, in Sarasota, Florida at the age of 97. She was born November 14, 1926, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Benjamin Clements and Sarah Vaughan. She married Vince Little on August 8, 1944, and they raised 3 children together - Barbara, Rick, and Liz. They were married for 75 years before Vince passed away. She was a longtime member of Siesta Key Chapel and the PEO Sisterhood.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, her sisters Dorothy Hill and Maggie Gilbert, and her daughters Barbara Lynn Little Lock and Elizabeth Kay Little. She is survived by her son Vincent Richard (Rick) Little, Jr. (Lynn Adams), Grandchildren, Vincent Richard (Rickey) Little III (Katie), Melissa Little Whitworth (Dave), Meghan Little Knall (Kyle), Rebecca Lock Stein (Mark), Rachael Lock Arts (Cory) and Ben Lock (Kim), her great grandchildren Vincent Richard Little IV (Court), Scotty Little, Emi Whitworth, Maya Stein and Aidan and Madeline Knall.
She will be buried next to her husband, Vince, in the Sarasota National Cemetery. Funeral service information will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of Dolly Little 5703 SW County Rd 769 Arcadia, FL 34269.
