A graduate of Riverdale High School in 2014, he explored a few career paths before finding a passion for Operations in healthcare, a challenging and rewarding sector. He was employed at Lee Health as a Plant Ops. Project Quality Coordinator (mainly on the HealthPark campus) where he was known as a dedicated and hard-working Person. In his off time, he loved to work out and spend hours with his long-time buddies doing Playstation, bowling, and other activities that would ultimately result in fits of laughter for all involved. His own laughter was quite unique, one of a kind, and was clearly recognizable anywhere in a crowd.
Devan is survived by his Parents, Jim Best and Kimberly Ridenour, Grandparents Max and Nancy Ridenour, Brother Stephen (Ashley) Best, and Sister Laura Howard. His list of devoted Friends is simply too long to address here in fear of missing some. He also was hopelessly devoted to his dog Stryker who has been by his side for the last eight years. Suffice to say, he will be sorely missed by many.
I wanted to inform everyone that we will have a Celebration of Life for our son Devan Ridenour on December 13th. It will be at our house located at 17900 Wellswood Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33917. We will provide more details in the next day or two. Please share with anyone whose lives he touched. If you have any questions please post them here. -Kim
