I wanted to inform everyone that we will have a Celebration of Life for our son Devan Ridenour on December 13th. It will be at our house located at 17900 Wellswood Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33917. We will provide more details in the next day or two. Please share with anyone whose lives he touched. If you have any questions please post them here. -Kim

We also worked together and had a good friendship at Health Park before you moved then came back we were so excited you came back. I felt my day wasnt complete without our daily conversations with me, you, and Astrid and we would talk laugh cry just vent about our day to day life. We absolutely love and adore you and always will. I would always tease you and say you were a baby but you really were a great man and you will be forever missed! Happy 30th Birthday in heaven 💜

I didn’t know you personally   
We spoke almost everyday in passing at health park. 
You were a straight edged, sharp minded individual. 
We never had a bad interaction. 
Despite us not even knowing each others last name, I felt a pit in my stomach when I learned of your passing. 

Like many others I wish I could’ve done something more. Talked more, become friends, or even just go out and have a beer with ya. 

Your passing has been repeating in my mind since the day I learned of it. I can’t even imagine how the people who actually knew and loved you must feel. 

To his family and friends I am truly empathetic with your loss.  My prayers go out to you all. Devan was a great guy. 

Please hold each other close and treasure them.

Middle school was the best thank to Devan. We always sat on the bus together and talk on the phone every chance we could. Devan was always very sweet. Never a day went by without a smile on his face. A great man gone too soon my condolences go out to his family and other friends.

When I worked at health park with you were always so sweet and even joked around a lot. I use to call you baby face and that nickname was what I would always call you. You always reminding me of my little brother and when I would see you at work, that’s how I would treat you. We truly lost an amazing person and my thoughts and prayers go out to your family and close friends.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague, Devan. He was a valued member of our team whose dedication, professionalism, and positive spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

During this difficult time, our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who were close to him. We will remember Devan not only for his contributions to our organization but also for the kindness and respect he showed to others.

I met Devan here in Alabama at work, and before I knew it, we’d all gone from being just coworkers to being the best of friends — and then, what felt like family. 
That’s just how Devan was. He didn’t ease into your life; he jumped right in, and before long, you couldn’t imagine your days without him.

I know this might sound cliché to say, but that old phrase — “to know him is to love him” — was absolutely meant for Devan.

When he was around, you felt it. He had this way of turning an ordinary day into something unforgettable with just his smile. His laugh could fill a room — you could hear it from across the building — and somehow, no matter what kind of day you were having, it made everything better. He never met a stranger, and he never let anyone feel left out.

Devan had one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known. He was a protector — of his friends, his family, and anyone who needed someone to stand beside them. He was all heart, all joy, and always all in. When he cared about you, you knew it — there was no halfway with Devan.

To know him was to love him — and we were all so lucky to do both.

I grew up with Devan and saw him as one of my older brothers ever since I was little,  Matthew, Bobby, Devan and I used to hangout all the time until he moved out, check ups some times when he’d stop in the neighborhood, he was funny, outgoing, and an all around awesome and loving person, from man hunts in the woods to late night hangouts in the old treehouse across from his house, every memory was nothing but amazing and fun times. I love you brother, till we meet again… May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back Devan, you’re buddy Kagan Vann.

Worked with Devan for several yrs at Corvias, Ft. Rucker AL. He was an amazing young man with an eagerness to learn new skills.  Devan made me have faith in the newer generation with his work ethic and attention to detail. Will never forget our tearful goodbye at Ft Rucker. Devan you were not only a great co worker but also a good friend and you will be missed by myself and many others. My heart is broken and love you brother.
