With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis, a multifaceted individual whose journey was marked by adventure, creativity, and an unwavering zest for life. Dennis graduated from Penn State University in 1968 with a Mechanical Engineering degree and later obtained an MBA. He was an avid traveler, enjoyed racing cars, painting with watercolors, sailing, golfing, skiing, and bicycling. In more recent years, he obtained a captain’s license.
Dennis embraced the world with an insatiable curiosity, journeying to remote corners, savoring diverse cultures, and forming lasting friendships. He was a true connoisseur of life, cherishing laughter, valuing friendships, and reveling in the beauty of nature. His crazy sense of humor and smile lit up every room.
Dennis’s memory lives on in the stories he shared, the friendships he nurtured, and the profound impact he had on those who crossed his path. In his honor, the family requests donations made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, a cause very close to Dennis’s heart.
A celebration of life will be held for close friends and family in Florida, and one in Pennsylvania, both where friends and loved ones will come together to honor his memory and celebrate the vibrant, adventurous life he led. Celebration of life dates to be announced at a later date.
