Dan was born on May 6, 1951 and resided in Charlotte County from the time of his retirement in 2000.
Dan is survived by his wife, Jeri, son Clint (Lyn) Hemphill, daughter AmandaJill Winslow (Warren Askew), and stepsons Jason Martin, Matthew (Nina) Martin as well as eleven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Lee, and mother Frankie, sister Connie Hemphill and stepdaughter Kristen Cochrane.
