Carole Janice Kreuz

Carole was born to Elmer and Elizabeth Duncan on April 30, 1940. Carole met Charles Kreuz and was married in August, 1960. She had two children Steven and Christine. She worked for the Oak Forest Methodist Church for Reverend Wilbur Nicholson as the Church Secretary until her retirement at the age of 54.

Carole is survived by her loving children Steven (Jeanette) and Christine (Tina). She is also survived by her brother-in-law James (Julie) and their two children Jimmy and Susie.

Carole loved her husband Charles who she was married to for 63 years. Every night she would tell him “I love you to the moon and back.” before they went to sleep. Over the years they enjoyed driving to Florida to spend time in Disney World. They were true “Snow Birds” for more than 30 years before they moved to South West Florida in 2021 to be close to their children. In their final years in Florida, Carole and Chuck both resided at The Gallery Assisted Living Facility in Cape Coral. They thoroughly enjoyed their time at The Gallery with all of the friends that they met there.

Carole loved watching the Cubs and the Bears play. She enjoyed attending her daughter Christine’s sporting events where she met her long-time friends Mary Anne and Dave Melby. She thoroughly enjoyed listening to her son Steve play music and shopping with her daughter Christine. She was loved by all. She will be missed by family and friends.
