She has been a Naples Resident for the last 31 years, formerly she was a resident of Lake Orion, Michigan. She was born December 17th, 1937 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Juanita and Robert Bibby.
Carol raised her four children and worked while running a successful ceramic business in Michigan. She spent her later years in Florida by dedicating herself to the Catholic Church. Carol enjoyed leading the ladies of Saint John’s craft group and then proceeded to help raise funds to build Saint Agnes Catholic Church. While at Saint Agnes, she started the Ladies of Saint Agnes craft group along with being a eucharistic minister, head greeter, and usher. She also had a passion for cross stitch, cooking, and collecting seashells from Naples beach, which in turn she made into countless beautiful items for not only her home but also for others to enjoy.
With the “gift of gab”, magnetic personality, and a radiant presence, she never forgot a face, name, or minute detail, which drew people to her and her to them.
Her laughter and kindness knew no boundaries and she touched the lives of every single person with both compassion and graciousness that came to know her. She was loved by her family and friends, we are thankful for the multitude of close friends that were truly family throughout her life. Rejoice with us in the beauty of truth that Carol is now in the eternal presence of his lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
May her memory be eternal.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Wilson and four beloved children: Robert Wilson Jr and his wife Diane of Waltham, MA; Mathew Wilson and his wife Pam of Oxford, MI; Anthony Wilson and his wife Rose of Omer, MI; and Angelique Mix and her husband Jeffrey, of Lake Orion, MI.
