

He was born in Dallas, Texas to his loving parents Wayne & Mildred Martin in 1969. They came to small town Atlanta, Texas when Cam was 9 and would spend his childhood growing up with family nearby and lots of friends. He would play many sports including football at Atlanta High School where he graduated in 1987.
He went on to enlist in the US Navy at age 19 and served 4 years on the USS Princeton. During that service they would participate in Operation Desert Storm where their ship suffered major damage by an underwater mine just off the shore of Dubai. He was trained in HVAC during his naval service which would become his lifelong occupation.
He returned to his station in Long Beach, CA in 1991 where he met the love of his life Stephanie. Together they shared 34 years of marriage and built a beautiful life with 2 incredible boys, Cody & Benjamin. They have one granddaughter Aubrielle and a new daughter-in-law Denna.
Cameron had a deep passion for Texas BBQ and had recently started a side business doing pop-up food stands and small catering jobs. Smoking meat and watching people enjoy his BBQ brought him so much joy!
Cameron was always willing to lend a helping hand and you were never a stranger if you met him. A lot of his serving was done at his church home of 26 years New Life Assembly of God. Cameron served as an Usher, Royal Ranger leader, Men's Ministry, Grillmaster, and many other areas.
He will be remembered for his big smile, great hugs, and his dedication to his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Wayne, brother Sean, grandparents James & Viola Drydren, Cecilia Doiron, brother-in-law Erik, and cousin Cliff Sears.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife Stephanie, his mother Mildred, his children Cody, Ben and wife Denna, his granddaughter Aubrielle who he dearly loved, his mother & father-in-law Carol & Ron Polichnowski and a host of extended family & friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27th @ 10 o’clock in the morning at New Life Assembly of God in Lehigh Acres, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County or New Life Assembly of God Lehigh Acres, FL. *Please share your stories, memories & photos on this site.
