Albert Robert Neuner

Albert Robert Neuner, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on February 27, 2023. He was born on March 16, 1944 to Albert and Josephine Neuner in New York City. He is survived by his devoted wife Gale, loving son and daughter, Eric and Robin, son-in-law Chuck, his cherished grandchildren, Alexander and Madison, and his dear sister JoAnn.

Al graduated from East Islip High School on Long Island, N.Y. and went on to receive a Bachelors degree from the State University at Oneonta, N.Y., a Master degree in Mathematics from William and Mary, and a Masters Degree in Administration from Hofstra University. He was an outstanding Mathematics teacher, High School principal and Assistant Superintendent for Business on Long Island, N.Y.

Over the years Al enjoyed sports, cross-country, skiing, golf, tennis, lawn-bowling and racquetball. He coached soccer and track. He was highly interested in finance, the stock market and enjoyed playing poker.

Al loved life, no matter what the challenges. He was kind generous, and always willing to listen. He had a strong faith and never hesitated to give love and support. He was devoted to his family, his community and his many friends. He will be missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
