William Nelson Moran

Bill was raised in East Point, Georgia and graduated from Russell High School and Georgia Tech. Although he was awarded a football scholarship to Auburn University, he signed a professional baseball contract with the Cleveland Indians instead of attending.

As a person who enjoyed life and was lucky to have two devoted wives; Peggy Moran and current wife of 41 years, Annette Moran; Bill was also blessed with three unbelievable sons; Michael, Steve, and Chris Moran; two loving stepdaughters, Denise Johnson and Donna Brown; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as two great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at All Saints Anglican Church; 149 Ebenezer Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215.
