

She was born & raised in Indiana Barbara married the love of her life there in 1949, Curt, and had 2 children. In 1960 the family moved to Fla., where she was a homemaker until she started working in the family business from 1970-1999. She was known for her great cooking & the BEST homemade noodles, a family tradition. She & her husband enjoyed traveling to other countries, also Alaska, Hawaii & also camping in their motorhome around the U.S., especially the N. Carolina mountains. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she volunteered when she could & started the Crafters Club. Crafting became a passion for her until her health declined.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Keith & Dorothy Kelley; husband, Roy Curtis Smith & their son, Roy Keith Smith; brothers, William Kelley & Thomas Kelley.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Smith Harris; son-in-law, Bruce Harris; sister, Patricia Jackson; brothers, Robert Kelley, James Kelley & wife Melody Kelley, sisters-in-law, Joan Kelley, Yuriko Kelley & Linda Ingram; brother-in-law, Steven D. Smith; grandsons, Christopher Harris, Cy Smith, and Ryan Smith; great-grands, Ciara, Anabella, Eva, Curtis & Riff; great-great-grands, Gloria, Kayden, Zyler & Sebastian; as well as a host of nieces & nephews.
Barbara was a sweetheart with a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew her. will be greatly missed.
Per her request there will be no funeral. She and her husband's ashes willbe scattered in the N. C. mountains.
