

Wayne was born in San Francisco, California on January 7, 1935 to Harold Craig Courtright and Edith Blanche Courtright. Wayne was a wonderful, kind, quiet man and had his own unique sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and grandfather. Wayne was a hard worker at Western Electric, AT&T, AT&T International as well as WEBB Communications. He was in the Telecommunications industry for more than 50 years.
Wayne loved antique cars and enjoyed restoring them. He built hot rods and had a passion for motorcycles; building several show bikes with his last custom build (Orange Crate) featured on the cover of “Art of the Chopper” in 2003. Wayne & Susan showed his classic cars and motorcycles at various shows, rode Harley Davidsons, and loved to travel together. He enjoyed life to it’s fullest.
He is survived by his wife Susan of 43 years and his three daughters (Pamela Courtright of Navarro, CA, Gina Courtright Kleinsmith of San Diego, CA and Candace James of Ukiah, CA). Wayne had 9 grandchildren (Robert Fielding, Kristy Corona, Madison Kleinsmith and Sadie Kleinsmith all from San Diego, CA, Allison James Verevko of Spanish Fort, AL, Chevy English of Oregon, Rory Solis of Yountville, CA, Jennifer Courtright and Scott Courtright both in Oregon.) 2 great grandchildren (Katrina Corona and David Corona, Jr. of San Diego, CA.) and 3 great great grandchildren (Ryker Fielding, Nio Martinez & Omnia Kay Fernandez). He is also survived by his nephews Craig Courtright & Bryce Isle, nieces (Wendy Courtright, Amy Courtright, Juli Courtright Jerome and Teresa Isle Fry), grand nieces (Natalie Amaya, Rachel Jerome and Ashley Jerome Doden) and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold & Edith Courtright, brother Hugh Courtright, sister Marette Isle and Son Wayne Allen Courtright,Jr.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
