Nicholas Alan Conrad

Nicholas (Nick) Conrad of Napa, California passed away on July 20, 2026 at the age of 46 following a 16-month battle with Glioblastoma. He was born in Corona, California, but Northern California was home for the majority of his adult life.

Nick graduated from Golden Sierra High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he met his loving wife, Tara.

Nick proudly served as a District Attorney Investigator for Napa County and previously as a police officer with Novato Police Department.

Nick was an exceptional law enforcement professional, but his greatest joy was being a husband and father. He loved Tara and their two children beyond measure; they were the driving force behind everything he did.

Nick enjoyed running, camping, exploring new places with his family, cheering on the Detroit Lions, and pursuing his lifelong passion for cars by tinkering on his vehicles in his garage.

Nick’s automotive knowledge proved to be invaluable to many of the cases that the District Attorney’s office prosecuted on behalf of the People. Nick was proud to serve his community, and he will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and the genuine friendships he built with those fortunate enough to know him.

Nick is survived by his wife, two children, brother, sister, and mother.
