Nancy was born in Ottumwa, IA, the second daughter to Richard Pearson Baughman and Ellen Amanda Baughman.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her nephew Armand Richard Hernandez. She is survived by her sister Lynne Diane Hernandez, her brother in law Armand Patrick Hernandez, her nieces Amy Hernandez and Alison Hernandez and nephew Alan Hernandez.
Nancy got her bachelor’s degree at Chico State. She had a love for people, all animals, music and the great outdoors. She was generous, kind, positive and an independent spirit.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date
