Josephine Giacoma Dahl

It is with extreme sadness we share with all of you the passing of Josephine Violet Giacoma Dahl on May 13, 2025, at the age of 91 in Fairfield, California. Josephine was born on September 11, 1933, in San Francisco, California.

Josephine found great joy in her travels, Ballroom Dancing, playing competitive Bridge, and spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Growing up, Josephine was an accomplished pianist and was the Valedictorian in her Senior High School Class. In retirement she and her husband became world travelers. They sailed around the world, and visited numerous foreign countries such as Egypt, China, Italy, Panama, Peru, enjoying their life and love together.

Josephine is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Donald O. Dahl. The two were married on September 6, 1993, which created a blended family of seven adult children including Robert Giacoma, David Giacoma, Dave’s spouse Lucinda Collinson, Ann Giacoma-Sandoval and her spouse Jeffrey Sandoval, Linda Dahl, Susanne Dahl. Elizabeth Lerma, Elizabeth’s spouse Robert Lerma, and Andrew Dahl. Additionally, she had nine grandchildren, Michalyn, Ryan, Nathaniel, Joshua, Marie, Ashley, Robert, Cody, and Devan, and eight great grandchildren, Breanna, Arianna, Isaiah, Aiden, Tennyson, Jameson, Emerson, and Bronson. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart and will be deeply missed by her husband, children and the rest of her extended family.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Josephine which will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Paradise Valley Estates, 2600 Estates Drive, Fairfield, California.
