

Bob graduated from Camden High School in San Jose, California, in 1969.
Bob married Mary Jean Tragna, and together they welcomed their first child, Shannon, in 1969. He later married Sandra Pixley, and they welcomed, a son, Robert.
After high school, Bob attended trade school, where he learned construction skills. In 1970, he applied for his training and built his parents’ home in Del Rio, Texas. Upon moving to Texas from California, he furthered his education by attending HVAC trade school and worked in that field for several years. Bob eventually retired and dedicated himself to caring for his parents full-time.
Bob had a passion for music and played bass guitar in a garage band during the late 1960s. His band performed at several grand openings in San Jose, California. In addition to music, Bob was an accomplished woodworker, creating wall pieces, jewelry boxes and clocks He had a talent for woodworking, and people gave their rare wood to use in many of his projects. Bob had a love of fishing. He could stay out all day. He enjoyed his Rod & Reel magazine and looked for ideas for his lure and hooks. He spent many hours creating his own hooks. Winding silken thread and feathers was a joy for him.
Bob was predeceased by his grandmothers: Juanita Rodriguez, his parents: Robert and Elsa Rodriguez, and his brother-in-law: Robert Biggs.
Survivors include his daughter, Shannon Cutts (Brian, Kirsten, and Lauren) from Fair Oaks, CA, his son, Robert Theile (Nycole, Giannah, Sofia, and Sareya) from Sanger, CA, sister, Yvette Burnett (Bill), sister, Rose Johnston (Greg), sister, Laura Biggs from Clovis, CA, brother John Rodriguez (Veronica) from Morgan Hill, CA, and his twin cousin, Sydia Lemos (Manuel), from Clements, CA.
Memorial service will be announced after the holidays.
Bob, may you rest in peace. Enjoy the journey, as we celebrate our “Big Brothers” life. We will never forget you.
