

Clara Tsu Tsin Mark, known as “Jeannie,” to family and friends was born in Seattle, Washington, on April 5, 1942, to Jung Oy Chin Yee and Sue Gee Mark, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, surrounded by her family, after a brief battle with cancer.
A University of California Berkeley graduate, she and her husband owned Ming’s Chinese restaurant in Midwest City (famous for their eggrolls). Clara’s career included costume sewing for Ballet Oklahoma, OCU, Carpenter Theater, and Lyric Theaters and an Office Manager the last 21 years of her career.
Clara received many awards crafting items for The Hugs Project, Red Cross, and Women Marines Association. She was a lifelong learner who loved family, food, reading, sewing, and the Arts.
Clara is survived by her daughter, Stacey Riggs and husband Jeff of Tampa, Florida; sister, Ellen Harkins and husband Pratt; nephew, James Harkins of Oklahoma City; brother, John Chow of Las Vegas; and bonus daughter, Yuki Havern of El Reno, Oklahoma.
Her celebration of life, at a later date, will certainly involve great food.
