Ana grew up in San Antonio, graduating from Luther Burbank High School in 1949. On September 2, 1949, she married Robert Malcolm Lofley. Together, they had four children: Robert Linston (Kim), Martha Lynn Ort (Georg), Malcolm Edwin, and Jeffrey Lee. Throughout her life, Ana prioritized her family, providing unwavering support to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She attended some college courses over the years at Midwestern University in Wichita Falls and the University of Texas at Austin. Her main career was as secretary (Certified Professional Secretary) and administrator, as well as accountant. She enjoyed working for two governors of Texas and was very involved in the dedication of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library in Austin, Texas.
Ana was predeceased in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Loneta Lorene Kilman. She is survived by her four children; grandchildren: Laura Lynn Berryhill (Travis), Alexis Claire Hakes (Brian), Ana Marie Lingerfelt (Jordan), Arlo Ione Ennis Hayes, Paul Stefan Ort (Lindsey), Peter Konrad Ort (Angela), and Travis Cobb Lofley; six nieces and nephews; and nine great-grandchildren who loved their Grandma very much. She will be missed.
At her request, there will be no funeral service. She preferred that we remember her in our hearts, as we all do.
