

William proudly served on active duty in the United States Army in Germany during the historic construction of the Berlin Wall. His time in service reflected his lifelong sense of duty and quiet strength. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career with PepsiCo where he worked for 35 years before retiring.
In 1968, William made Hometown his residence, where he and his beloved wife Carol (Neff), built a beautiful life together. Married for 61 years William adored his wife beyond measure. He loved his 4 daughters without restraint: Dawn (Kevin) Conlin, Renee (Nick) Warsitz, Colleen (David) Sahy, and Sherry (Tom) Crowley. He was the proud grandfather to Will (Jill) Sahy, Nathan Sahy and Ryan Warsitz and great grandfather to Liam, Hailey and Aria Sahy.
William was deeply loved by his large and extended family and loved them just as deeply in return. His presence was steady, his love unwavering, and his faith profound. He loved the Lord with all his heart, and that faith guided his life in both quiet moments and great milestones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anne Geegan, and his two sisters, Betty Kenny and Anne Marie Hagreen.
William’s legacy is one of enduring love, steadfast faith, and wholehearted devotion to his community and family. He will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
