Theodore A Mowry

Theodore (Ted) Mowry was born on June 17, 1960 in Chicago to Jeanne Mowry (Barg) and Walter Mowry Sr. Throughout his life, he was known for kindness, generosity and work ethic.

Ted worked as window washer and business owner of SqueekyKleen and took great pride in business. Outside of work, he enjoyed listening to AC/DC, cheering on the Bears, volunteering with Substance Abuse Counseling at the Mokena Fellowship Center and cherished spending time with friends.

Ted is survived by girlfriend Betty Sutera, brother Walter Mowry, sister in law Bonita Mowry, nieces and nephews; Jeffrey Mowry (Vanessa), Jason Mowry (Meghan), Samantha Czarnecki (Alan), Morgan Lauer (Blake), Jeanne Stuart and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Jeanne Mowry (Barg) & Walter Mowry Sr., sister Carla Kjellberg and other loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday September 13, 2026 at noon at the Bird Haven Pavilion in Pilcher Park, located in Joliet.

Ted will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
