Suzanne Diane Paprocki, age 70, a resident of North Aurora, IL, and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025. She was born on July 16, 1954, in Chicago, the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Dahlberg) Rossini.
On February 28, 1976, Suzanne was united in marriage to the love of her life, Frank E. Paprocki Sr. Together, they built a life full of love, family, and dedication.
Suzanne was a devoted homemaker and stay-at-home mom. While raising her children, she enjoyed working when able and took great pleasure in hobbies like piano lessons, ceramics, bowling leagues, and even karate classes. She loved all things homemaking—cooking, baking, crocheting, and gardening brought her true joy. Later in life, Suzanne and Frank answered a new calling as foster parents, eventually adopting two young brothers and expanding their loving family.
After her husband Frank’s retirement and as the boys grew older, Suzanne returned to the workforce, taking on one of her most cherished roles in 2012 at the Carpenters Local 1185 in Lisle, IL. She worked through her first battle with cancer in May of 2014 and continued until retiring in October of 2021 after a re-diagnosis. In her retirement, Suzanne embraced her greatest joy—being a “Mormor” to her grandchildren—and made the most of her time traveling to the family’s summer cabin with Frank as often as possible.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Frank E. Paprocki Sr., and their five children: Frank E. Paprocki Jr. (Nicole), Dianna Paprocki, Suzanne M. Erickson (Carl), David Paprocki (Mikayla), and Adam Paprocki. She was a cherished Mormor to eleven grandchildren: Vann Thompson, Korrie Thompson, Reid Erickson, Frank E. Paprocki III, Carter Zinn, Ana Paprocki, Zyra Totton, Eva Erickson, Finley Paprocki, Jaxon Paprocki, and Jace Paprocki. She is also survived by her sisters, Jennifer Gosun and Renee Baglieri (Jay), along with countless brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary Rossini.
Her legacy is one of unwavering love, selflessness, and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Service begins at 10:30 a.m., with lunch to follow at Fox Valley Christian Church, 40W150 Main St., Batavia, IL 60510
