Susan Chelios

Sue nee Kontomenas Chelios lived a long and loving life, passing away peacefully at 92 surrounded by family on March 4, 2026. She lived a meaningful life devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren along with the many people she touched with her kindness and quiet strength. Beloved wife of the late Gus, loving mother of Chris (Tracee), the late Gigi, Penny, Eleni (Donald) Maurer and Steve; cherished YiaYia to Dean, Jake (Madelyn), Caley (Dan), Tara, Joe, Christine, and Jake. Great YiaYia to Bella, Danny, Sofia, Vera, and Georgia. A wonderful sister to Keke (John) Rustames and the late George Kontomenas.

Nothing brought her greater joy than watching her family grow, leaving behind the legacy of love that will live through them. Second to her family was her love of dancing with a good Scotch and her fashionista flair. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association or Cheli’s Children Foundation in her name are appreciated.
