Sarah Jessica Williams

Sarah Jessica Williams was born on November 23, 1932 in an Italian household as the youngest daughter of Ernest and Lucille Rotto. Sarah got her bachelor's degree in education from Mundelein College and a master's degree in Organizational Development from Illinois Benedictine College. Sarah met her husband Wally on a tennis court, and he was so taken by her personality that he invited her to have lunch with him after tennis. The rest was history. Wally proposed to Sarah about 6 years after they first met and she made him get down on his knees to propose. They lived happily until Wally's death on February 15, 2014. She missed him dearly and wanted to be with him. She always told him, 'whoever gets to heaven first needs to save a seat for the other'. Sarah was finally able to join her Wally on July 25, 2018. She left for her heavenly abode. Sarah will be deeply missed by her friends and family, especially her foster children Seema and Sunny Kapila and her caretaker Lea Gallagher. She is survived by her son, Robert Conrad Winke and her step-children Steven, Robert, Peggy, and Daniel. May Sarah's soul always rest in peace. Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues, 306 West 4th Street, Hinsdale IL 60521.
