Sandra J. Matook

Sandra J. Matook nee Mitchell, of Indian Head Park and formerly of Berwyn, IL passed away May 5, 2023. Survived by her devoted and loving husband of 68 years, A. George Matook; children, George (Osmera), Jeff (Cindy) and Katie; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sandy graduated from Morton High School in Berwyn. She was a great cook and she enjoyed making pies for family and friends. She loved to read and was so sharp with crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling in the motor home all over the country and in Canada. She was the salt of the earth and had a heart of gold. Her legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have known her. She was a bright light in all of our lives and we will cherish our memories of her forever. A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date.
