Uncle Rudy will always be remembered and cherished in our Angeloni hearts. He was the one who always had a smile and truly enjoyed spending time with the family.
Uncle Rudy was quite the handsome one as a young man. He had two children, Donna and Michael, and loved his Italian ancestral country and heritage. He visited Italy several times and made an effort to become acquainted with his extended Italian roots.
But mostly, he was proud to be an American. He believed in freedom and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He loved to share his deep-rooted convictions (especially on Facebook), but he truly loved his country and everything that it stands for.
Uncle Rudy relished golfing with his nephew, Louie, and he was actively golfing and bowling until the end of his 86 years. He was very close to his sister, Diane, and his brother-in-law, Stosh, and especially loved going to lunch and sharing holidays with them. He offered a friendly word to everyone he met, and was happy to share his stories, memories, and pictures.
He will be remembered in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear uncle.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Road, Aurora, IL 60504.
