Robert W Scott

Robert W. Scott passed away on May 14, 2018 in Carol Stream, IL. He was 100 years old. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly White and his step-son James Davis. He is survived by his loving children Robert Scott (Linda) and Nancy Slack (Robert); step-daughter Melinda Skolarus (David); and adoring grandchildren Amy Waterwall (Matthew), Kristin Brown (Michael), Matthew Slack (Christophe), Kimberly Berberich (Matthew), Andrew Scott (Michelle), and Adam Scott (Lisa). He was a proud great-grandfather of 12.

Robert, along with Beverly, was an avid golfer throughout his life, scoring his first hole-in-one back in 1986. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He could often be found outside gardening, another of his favorite pastimes.

A Memorial service will be held for Robert on May 31, at 10:00 am, at St Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 11007 S 76th Avenue, Worth IL 60482. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, 2900 W 111th Street, Chicago IL 60655.
