Peter J. Walter

Peter J. Walter, 95, of North Aurora, IL passed away Monday September 9, 2024. He was born in Rusko Selo, Serbia, on April 15, 1929. He immigrated to Chicago in 1950 and married his wife Catharina in 1954.

Peter was proud to serve in the United States Army from 1954-1956. He then worked as a tool and die maker. He retired early to enjoy farming and his fruit trees. His sense of humor made it easy to get along with him. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years Catharina; children, Peter Walter and Robert (Pennie) Walter ; grandchildren, Christopher Walter and Samantha Walter; sister, Anna (Edward) Palffy; sisters-in-law, Margaret Walter and Elizabeth Walter; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Angela, Anton, Michael, and John.

A memorial visitation will be at 9:30 AM followed by mass at 10:30 AM, Friday November 8, 2024 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 801 Oak St, North Aurora, IL.
