Penelope Othellia Ericksen

Penelope "Penny "Ericksen went home to be with Jesus at the age of 90 on February 8, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Penny was born to Elsie and Fritz Ziebarth on January 3,1935 in Berwyn, Illinois. She attended Downers Grove North High School and was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. A few of her occupations throughout her life were in banking and sales.

Penny is preceded in death by her husband Don. She leaves behind her daughters, Donna, Dianne and Pam; grandchildren, Alicia,Danielle and Dana; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Ella and, Abigayle and her brothers, Paul and Fred as well as nieces, a nephew, cousins and many friends.

Besides spending time with her family and friends Penny enjoyed dining out, crossword puzzles, football "The Bears" and caring for her beloved cat "Buddy!" Penny had a beautiful voice, a wonderful smile that will forever be remembered and a sweet and loving personality, that touched many lives. She will also forever be remembered for her incredible strength, perseverance, her love for her family and her deep relationship with God! She lives on in the Hearts of so many people and for those of us who have Christ we will be reunited with her forever!
