Nathaniel Henry Reed

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Nathaniel (Nate) Reed on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023. He was a talented and creative chef who had a successful career in the restaurant industry. Outside of his career, Nate was passionate about music, the outdoors, hockey, extreme sports, his family, fiancé, and friends. Nate would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was an eternal optimist, dreamed big, and lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his parents, Wendy Anker and Ed Reed, his sister Abbie, his fiancé Nicole Casey, his loyal dogs Cuddles and Triton, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

Memorial Service will be Sunday, September 3 at 5:00 pm at the Evanston Lighthouse Park, 2603 Sheridan Rd in Evanston, IL (the corner of Central St and Sheridan Rd).
