Michael Keith Moisand

Michael Keith Moisand, 82, of La Grange, IL, passed away on August 10, 2025. Throughout his life, Michael quietly built a legacy of generosity, hard work, and resilience. He approached every challenge with a steady hand and an open heart, and those who knew him will remember not only his wisdom but also the way he could make a room brighter with a well-timed joke or a perfectly delivered one-liner.

At the heart of Michael’s life was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary; his daughter, Cindy, and son-in-law, Ash; and his son, Craig, and daughter-in-law, Carolina, who carry forward his warmth, humor, and a touch of his signature determination. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to Zach and Ryan, who brought him endless joy and kept him young at heart. He is also remembered fondly by extended family, dear friends, coworkers, and all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

In keeping with Michael’s wishes (and his knack for keeping things simple), no service will be held. Instead, we invite you to celebrate his life in the way he lived it: by spreading smiles and sharing a bit of humor to brighten someone’s day. We invite you to share your condolences and memories of Mike with his family.
