Mary A Oros

Mary Agnes “Bonnie” Oros (née Donegan), age 71, of Chicago, passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved her.

Bonnie was born on March 29, 1955, in Chicago, to the late John and Mary Frances “Frannie” Donegan. She was preceded in death by her three brothers.

Born and raised in Chicago, Bonnie spent most of her life in the city she loved. She worked for many years in the Emergency Room at Holy Cross Hospital, where her hard work and dedication were a reflection of the person she was throughout her life.

Bonnie was a devoted mother who always put her children first. She worked hard to make sure her sons, Russ and John, had everything they needed, often making sacrifices of her own without hesitation. Her family meant everything to her.

Bonnie had a love for horses, long drives, dogs, and her Irish heritage. She enjoyed the simple things in life and created memories that her family will carry with them forever.

She is survived by her sons, Russ Oros and his wife, Natalie, and John Oros and his wife, Molly; her beloved grandchildren, Russell, Matthew, Eileen, Walter, and Gordon; and her dear niece, Theresa, and nephews, Tom and Tim.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her strength, love, and devotion to her family will remain with them always.
