Margaret S. Nadherny

Margaret S. Nadherny, 85, of Woodridge, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Beloved wife of Frank J. Nadherny; loving mother of Kathy (Scott) Marohnic, Carol (Jerry) Stalun, Frank E. (Cindy) Nadherny and Karen (Mark) Thorpe; cherished grandmother of Lisa (Matt) Saldin, Michael (Danielle) Marohnic, Dan (Natalie) Stalun, Keri (Joseph) Toner, Frank M. (Karly) Nadherny, Jill (Ryan) Martinez, Jennifer Nadherny, Michael (Amy) Thorpe, Ryan (Caroline Schweers) Thorpe and David Thorpe; adored great-grandmother of Molly, Mila, Noelle, Hannah, Jonah, Jaxon, Gavin, Dylan, Jackson, Robert, Katie, Reagan, Zoey and Elliana; dear sister of Peter M. (Lucy) Sheedy and Lois (the late James) Anderson; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Peter J. Sheedy; and her sisters, Evelyn (John) O’Gara and Patricia (Ron) Velesovsky. Margaret was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Golden Years Club of Woodridge. She loved her friends, especially going to the movies every Wednesday with the girls, she was an avid lover of beagles and most importantly, she loved her family. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Scholastica Catholic Church, 7800 Janes Ave., Woodridge, IL 60517. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to the church.
