Lois Marie Fink

Lois M. Fink, age 92, of Lombard, IL passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2018. Beloved wife of late husband, Warren Fink for 60 years. Loving mother of Carolyn Redding and Judith Gilley. Cherished grandmother of Merrideth (Steve) Dedo, Kathleen (Alistair) Murray and Ryann (Dirk) Maloney. Dear great grandmother of Evelyn Dedo and Zuzu Murray. Lois was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. Throughout her teens and early twenties, she played both organ and piano hymns for Sunday Services at Avalon Park Community Church. After graduating from Hirsch High School, Lois attended secretarial school. She then became employed at Chicago Mill and Lumber Company where she worked for eight years. During her marriage, Lois often played Sunday School hymns at First Church of Christ Scientist in Homewood, IL. She was also the consummate homemaker, hostess and baker. As a longtime active member of the International P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter JB in Homewood, Lois served in almost every capacity during her nearly fifty-one year membership. She will be dearly missed.

Celebration of life and interment will be private.
