Linda was the very embodiment of strength and independence. With a quick wit and a heart full of love, she brought light and laughter into the lives of all who knew her. She was an extraordinary cook and baker—Thanksgiving at Linda’s house was a cherished tradition, where the food was always delicious, and the company even better.
She had a wonderfully sharp sense of humor and was always ready with an inappropriate joke that made everyone laugh, often when it was needed most. Linda loved playing cards and could turn any game night into an event full of laughter and friendly competition. She had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, and her compassion extended to every creature she encountered.
Her love for her family was deep and unwavering. She cared devotedly for her father in the later years of his life, a testament to her selflessness and loyalty. Linda also found joy in playing computer games and hosting family gatherings that will be fondly remembered for years to come.
She is survived by her sister Beverly (Wilke) Pisciotto, her brother-in-law Bryan Pisciotto, and their children Vincent, Candice, and Anthony. She was a loving aunt to Ed Wilke and a proud great-aunt to many. Linda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, we find peace in knowing she is no longer in pain and is joyfully reunited with loved ones in heaven.
Her legacy of laughter, love, and resilience will live on in the stories we tell and the memories we hold dear.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Naperville Humane Society in her honor.
