Laura Betty Nieman

Laura Betty Nieman, 71, of Aurora, IL passed away October 3, 2024. Loving mother of Michael (Christina) Booker and Lisa (Dave) Reynolds; cherished grandmother of Kobe, Thomas, Michael, Bobby, Anna and Xander and dear great-grandmother of Evonii. She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Richard Nieman and her infant brother, Richard Jr. Laura worked for many years at Nicor Gas, the City of Naperville, the Venetian Hotel (as Project manager, which was one of her proudest moments), and lastly, at First Student as a bus monitor; where she loved each and every one of her students, but her passion was horses and she was an avid horseback rider. She will be remembered for her laugh, her knack of making friends wherever she went, and the way she battled great illness with a smile and always finding joy in every moment life. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
