Joseph Raymond Havelka

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph R. Havelka, age 76, of Orland Hills, IL, who passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025.

Joe was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal brother. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Havelka, and his six children: Robert, Melissa, Julie (Keith), Carolyn (Tom), Marjorie (Matthew), and Joseph. Joe was a proud grandfather to fifteen grandchildren, all of whom were a constant source of joy in his life.

He is also survived by his loving siblings: Joanne, Jeanetta, Jim, and Joy.

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Havelka and mother Jeanette Havelka, whom he honored throughout his life with the strength of his character and the kindness of his heart.

Joe was a man who found deep peace in simple pleasures—fishing, gardening, and being surrounded by family. He led with quiet strength and gave generously of his time, wisdom, and love. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he instilled in his family.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace and reunited with those who went before him.
