Herman Carl Hudson

He was born June 28, 1944, in Memphis, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sara and William Hudson of Benton Harbor.

He was the dear husband of Arlene, loving father of Eric, cherished father-in-law to Hallie, proud grandfather of Hayden and Ethan, and beloved brother of Barbara (Quentin) Ellingson and Dennis (Janice) Hudson. Herman will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Herman was a Central Michigan football fan and he enjoyed spending time with family. He was also an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, and had a passion for photography. Herman served his country proudly from 1967-1969 in Korea as a U.S. Army medic. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A private funeral at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL, is planned for July 29.
