Garrett Joseph Vogt

Gary was a graduate of Griffin High School, Class of 1981. He proudly dedicated 28 years of service to HSHS St. John’s Hospital, where he worked as a Senior IT Support Technician.

Gary was a lifelong member of the TRN Club. He enjoyed boating, cooking, fine cuisine, craft beer, bourbon, concerts, and traveling. Most of all, Gary cherished the time he spent with his family and friends and the many memories they made together.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Mary; sisters, Debbie (Tom) and Angela (Bruce); brothers, Mark, Randy (Diana), and Darrin (Lauren); and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Rita.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the TRN Club, 25 Lakewood Drive, Chatham, Illinois.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorial donations in Gary’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Gary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
