

Throughout her life, Ellyn was never short on love. Be it her love for travel and experiencing new cultures, her love for adventure, or her love for her children and family.
Over the years she ventured into many roles and responsibilities. Ellyn was a kind, caring, and damn good nurse of 35+ years. She was an amazing full time mother, and absolutely perfect grandmother. She was a passionate travel agent who truly loved showing others how beautiful this world is, while having reached 23 countries and all 50 states in her own travels. Ellyn was a member of the Lockport VFW Women's Auxiliary, as well as A.A. and the Wilmington Sportsman's Club.
Ellyn is preceded in death by her brother John (Lynn), and sister Marguerite.
She is survived by her loving sons Mario (Ashley) Macalik, and Alexander Macalik, grandson Cole, brother Jimmy (Lauren), brother Jerry (Sandy), sister Jeanne, sister-in-law Lynn and cat Shiny.
A celebration of life will be held for close friends and family at a later date, please consider a donation to the "Wounded Warrior Project" or "American Cancer Society" in lieu of flowers.
