Ellen Thomas, age 89, of Burr Ridge passed away on March 20, 2023. Born in Chicago on September 6, 1933 to David and Mary Ellen Thomas, Ellen was a career woman ahead of her time who devoted herself to Family, Friends, Faith Community, and traveling the world.
Her favorite pastimes included golf, bowling, and creating hand crafted items for Family & Friends.
She is beloved by her nieces; Madalyn (Basil) Ford, Ann Marie Ladd, Regina (the late Dan) MacAskill, nephews; Charles (Terri), Richard (Sharon), John (Laure), and the late Robert (Maureen) Thomas and many great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation begins at 10am April 22, 2023 followed by a Mass at 11 o’clock at St. John of the Cross, 5005 S. Wolf Road, Western Springs.
