Elizabeth Galvan, known as “Dolly”, age 85, of New Lenox, Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2023. Loving wife of 45 years to Charles and she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Campbell and the late Margaret Doeden. Wonderful mother of Kathleen Camarillo, Patricia Hunt and Vincent (Roberta) Galvan; caring grandmother of Steven Camarillo, Nicholas Hunt, Maxwell Galvan, Ashley Nickels and Samuel Galvan; great-grandmother of Haven Stepanek and Emma Camarillo; loving sister of her late siblings, Joseph (Dolores) Campbell, William (Patricia) Campbell and Margaret (Robert) Rasmussen; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She retired from Western Electric (AT&T). She was a happy person to whomever she met and will be forever remembered for her kindness, compassion and sharing of her love to everyone.
A celebration of Dolly’s life will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 12pm - 5pm at The American Legion Post 1977, 14414 Ford Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451.
