Elaine Marie Kost

Elaine M. (Kotik) Kost, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away on December 25, 2024. Elaine was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1932, and grew up in the Roseland neighborhood. She graduated from Fenger High School in 1950, and attended North Central College in Naperville Illinois.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Karen Goodheart (and husband Gary), grandsons Michael Lennie (and wife Vanessa) and David Lennie, great grandsons Hunter Lennie and Wyatt Lennie, daughter-in-law, Anita Kost, and various other family members. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert Kost, her son, Kenneth Kost, her parents, Erwin and Agnes Kotik, and her brother, Richard Kotik.

Elaine enjoyed swimming, boating on the lake in Michigan, and spending time with friends and family. Details regarding her memorial service and burial are pending.
