

Donna Rae was born November 16th, 1938, daughter of Stanley A. Sr. and Donna Iola (Purchase) Miller, in Lansing, Michigan.
She was united in marriage to John T. Cruthis on October 18, 1958, in Lansing, Michigan. Together they built a loving home where she devoted herself to raising their children, a role she embraced with dedication, patience, and care.
In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and valued the friendships and fun that came with it. She later gave generously of her time as a volunteer at Edwards Hospital, where her kindness and willingness to help others left a lasting impression.
An avid reader, she found joy and comfort in books throughout her life. She was also a devoted sports fan, faithfully following the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks, and rarely missed the chance to cheer on her favorite teams.
Her life was marked by quiet strength, service to others, and deep love for her family. She will be remembered for her warm heart, steadfast devotion, and the many simple joys she shared with those around her.
Donna is survived by her children, Thomas (June) Cruthis of Clinton, IA and Christine (Patrick) Janowicz, Downers Grove, IL; grandchildren, Allison, Samuel, Alex, Lillian and Luke; and brother, Stanley (Steve) A. (JoAnn) Miller Jr. of Naubinway, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
