Donald Paul Grayless

Don Grayless, 74, passed away on April 24, 2023, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. As a concert sound engineer and the owner of Dress Rehearsals Production Studios, Don played a crucial role in the music industry. He was deeply valued by musicians and road crew that depended on such facilities to keep their acts up and running. Don's professionalism and technical expertise included radio & television concert broadcasts, hands-on college tech workshops, and numerous national touring acts, including long-running relationships with Chicago's talentbank of musicians & industry crew services. Don was a man of much humor and community spirit. He will be remembered for his dedication to his craft and his willingness to share his knowledge with others.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Monica Weber Grayless, as well as William Weber, Edward Weber, and Suzanne Weber Durburg. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Norton Grayless, mother Anne Bernecker Grayless, and brother Frederick Grayless.

A private mass will be held for family and close friends.
