David Ross Baier

David Ross Baier, 73, of Glen Ellyn, IL passed away Friday, December 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Kristen nee Gerlach; loving father of Brooke (Aaron) Bass and Charlie (Carissa) Baier; dear grandfather of Aaron Bass Jr., Wesley Baier, David Bass, and Abigail Baier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Howard Baier.

David attended Dickinson College of Carlisle, PA receiving his Bachelor’s degree, then went on to obtain his Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He was a professional civil engineer registered in Wisconsin and he also was a professional registered geologist receiving his certification from Indiana. He was a devoted member of the United Bowman of Philadelphia for over 50 years.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 393 N Main St., Glen Ellyn IL 60137. Inurnment to follow the service in the church garden. A light luncheon will be provided in the Mahon Hall reception room at the church.
